Design

My main tools for designing websites, applications and create art. The extended list of creative tools would include Adobe PS & Lightroom.

Figma

My go to choice for Application & Web design. I use Figma for client work as well as my personal projects.

Sketch

Even though I have been using Figma for 90% of my work, sketch remains a solid UI tool in my stack as a backup.

Affinity Designer

AF Designer is my solid replacement for Illustrator that I don’t need to have a subscription for. Furthermore, can use it on the Desktop as well as iPad Pro.

Productivity

I had the tendency to go over board with all kinds of productivity tools in the past. Today, I keep it simple and mostly use Notion for everything.

Notion

Since 2019, Notion has become the one and only tool I use to plan my weeks, track my habits, organize my tasks.

Spark Mail

The best email client I came across so far that works with Android and iOS equally good.

Toggl Track

I use toggl to track my hours for clients as well as personal projects.

Binaural Beats

Available on Android, this one helps to to get into a Flow state FAST.

Collaboration

Tools I mainly use for client work.

Miro

Miro is great for online brainstorming sessions and design crits with clients without the need to be pixel perfect.

Loom

Always comes in handy for quick video messages for design crits or tutorials.

Zoom

Not only great for client work, but for coaching calls and webinars.

Web Projects

This is what I use to run my Blog and all my eCommerce endeavour.

WordPress

I have been using WordPress for >10 years now and all my websites are WordPress based. The CMS is unchallenged and with the Gutenberg project and Full Site Editing, it is more powerful than ever.
